A visit to Greece by HICD Ambassador Katie Patrole (Assistant Director, The Parthenon in Nashville) in June, was followed in September by an official visit by President DeeGee Lester and Treasurer Theresa Wilkins-Jones in September in a continuation of making connections for potential collaborations. 

An historic signing event on September 9th at the Grand Britagne Hotel took place as HICD-USA officially agreed with Social Productions of Athens, Greece as partner for the steps toward future production of a documentary, "American Philhellene: Samuel Gridley Howe."
