HICD-USA initiated the city's historic resolution (#RS 2022-1764) in recognition of the 125th 

ANNIVERSARY OF THE PARTHENON in Nashville as recognized in Council session by the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County on October 12, 2022.

The US branch of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy joined with Metro Parks, and the people of Nashville in thanking Metro Council and council sponsors of this resolution: Russ Bradford, Brandon Taylor, Zulfat Suara , Burkley M Allen , and Delishia Porterfield, in highlighting our city's long-time iconic cultural anchor. Our city is blessed by its presence and the foresight of earlier generations in creating it for Nashville.
